We are excited to announce that Dr. Arlene Astell, Director of the DATE Lab, will be a featured speaker at the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward Island's 13th Annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Conference. The event will take place on September 19th, 2024, and will focus on advancing knowledge and solutions for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Dr. Astell will present the DATE Lab's latest research project, Boosting Self-Cueing in Dementia, funded by the Alzheimer Society of Canada. This innovative project aims to explore strategies that help individuals with dementia improve memory and independence through self-cueing techniques.
We invite professionals, caregivers, and anyone impacted by dementia to attend this valuable session and learn more about the cutting-edge work being done to improve the lives of those living with cognitive impairments.
